Nataru 2024/2025 Transport Runs Smoothly, Ministry of Transport Appreciates Pelindo

Jakarta, 15 January 2025 - The Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenhub) through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation expressed its appreciation to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo for its hard work and dedication in supporting the smooth and safe travel of the public during the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 (Nataru 2024/2025) period.

Director General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Antoni Arif Priadi, revealed that the successful implementation of Nataru 2024/2025 sea transportation could be realised due to the contribution and collaboration of all parties, including the excellent service provided by Pelindo.

‘This success cannot be separated from the contribution of all parties, including Pelindo in providing excellent service to service users,’ Antoni explained.

Antoni also conveyed a number of recommendations as part of efforts to evaluate and improve future services, especially in preparation for Lebaran 2025 Transport.

Group Head of Corporate Secretariat, Ardhy Wahyu Basuki, ensured that people who use sea transport as a choice of mode for mobility get the best service in accordance with the Government's direction.

‘We are committed to continuously improving service standards by optimising all operational aspects, especially in facing big moments as directed by the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of SOEs,’ said Ardhy.

Ardhy added that moments such as Nataru and Lebaran are important moments for Pelindo to provide the best service to the community, especially since Pelindo is a service company whose business model is Business to Business.
